Paradise Road, located outside City College Plymouth, has now reopened after a bus crash this morning. A Citybus service 36 was seen blocking the road after it reportedly collided with a wall. Photographs from the scene show the bus positioned across the road, causing significant disruption to traffic.

The collision occurred at approximately 8:40 AM on Wednesday, February 26. A witness informed PlymouthLive that there appeared to be no injuries, and Devon and Cornwall Police were quickly on the scene to investigate the accident.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed the incident, stating, “Police were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving a bus on Paradise Road, Plymouth, at around 8:40 AM today. It was reported that the bus had collided with a wall, and there were no passengers on board at the time. No injuries were reported.”

Following the crash, local road closures were implemented, and traffic was redirected for recovery operations. These closures were lifted around 10:35 AM, and traffic began to flow again. Despite the disruption, the road has now reopened, and conditions have returned to normal.

The bus driver has been reported to court for driving without due care, according to authorities.

The incident left Paradise Road blocked for several hours, leading to delays. However, the quick response of emergency services and local authorities allowed for a swift resolution, and the road is now clear of obstructions.
