Body Found in Search for Missing 26-Year-Old Luis Piovesana in Bristol

The body of 26-year-old Luis Piovesana has been found during an extensive search operation after he went missing on Friday, February 28. Luis was last seen around 3:30am at Eastgate Retail Park near the M32 motorway in Bristol. CCTV footage showed his movements in the area before his disappearance.

On the evening of Monday, March 3, Avon and Somerset Police provided an update confirming that a dive team had located a body in the River Frome, near Napier Road in Eastville, Bristol. The search team discovered the body at approximately 6pm. Formal identification has not yet occurred, but detectives have met with Luis' family to provide them with the latest information.

At 9:15pm on Monday, the police issued a statement stating, “A body has been found in the search for missing 26-year-old Luis Piovesana.” Authorities have expressed their deepest condolences and continue to support the family during this incredibly difficult time.

The search effort involved over 100 police officers, staff, local volunteers, and partner search and rescue agencies working together to locate Luis. Investigations into the circumstances of his disappearance are still ongoing.
