Plymouth Police have released a video showing two men on dirt bikes causing damage at Plympton Cricket Club and are asking for the public’s help in identifying them.
Plymouth Police have released video footage showing two young men riding dirt bikes and causing criminal damage at the Plympton Cricket Club. The two males, both wearing helmets, can be seen revving their engines while riding over the grass and damaging the lawn. One of the individuals appeared to shout 'f**k you' as they rode off.
The police have now launched an appeal on Facebook, stating: 'We are appealing for the public’s help identifying these males following criminal damage in Plympton. Damage was caused to the pitch at Plympton Cricket Club between 24 December and 26 December.' Officers investigating the incident believe that the individuals captured on video may assist with their inquiries.
Despite the faces of the suspects being covered, Plymouth Police are hopeful that someone might be able to recognize them. The police are urging anyone with information to contact them via the 101 phone number or the official police website, quoting reference number 50240326002.
The video footage was shared as part of the ongoing investigation, and authorities are asking for any assistance in identifying the two young men responsible for the damage to the cricket pitch.
