A significant power cut has affected more than 1,100 homes in Plymouth tonight. National Grid confirmed that the incident was reported at approximately 8:38 pm in the Ham and Weston Mill areas. The power outage is due to a fault on the National Grid's high voltage network.

National Grid has stated that resources are being organized to address the fault. As of 8:50 pm, they estimate that power will be restored by 10:00 pm. However, this estimated time may change, and further updates will be provided on the blog below.

As of 21:25, 824 properties have had their power restored, leaving 318 properties still without power. National Grid has apologized for the inconvenience caused and is working to resolve the issue.
