Devon and Cornwall Police have launched an investigation into the attempted abduction of a teenage girl in Plymouth. The incident occurred on Sunday, March 9, at around 6:55 PM on Colebrook Road.

According to reports, two men in a car approached the victim and tried to force her into the vehicle. However, the girl managed to break free and alert others. Fortunately, she was not harmed during the incident, which police are treating as an attempted abduction.

In an official statement, Devon and Cornwall Police said:

'Police were called following a report of an attempted kidnap in Plymouth. It was reported that at around 6:55 PM on Sunday, March 9, a female was walking along Colebrook Road when two males tried to pull her into a car.'

Authorities have confirmed that the suspects were unsuccessful, and the victim escaped unscathed. Investigations are ongoing as police work to identify and locate those involved.
